Valley View Residence
A contemporary home shaped by light, landscape, and crafted details like a custom book wall, floating staircases, and a patio that blurs inside and out.

The Valley View Residence sits lightly on its hillside, shaped by long sightlines and the changing light of the valley. Every space was designed to feel calm, intentional, and deeply connected to its surroundings — a contemporary home where warm materials and thoughtful craftsmanship work in quiet harmony.
At the centre of the home, the kitchen anchors daily life with its sculpted millwork and natural stone surfaces. Its clarity of line and material earned two 2025 CARE Awards: Best Contemporary Kitchen $75k–$100k and Best Custom Millwork under $100k. Throughout the main floor, custom cabinetry, blackened steel elements, and soft transitions between rooms reinforce the home’s understated rhythm.

Downstairs, the mood shifts. A comfortable bar and gathering space bring a sense of warmth and hospitality — a place designed for evening light, conversation, and the kind of easy togetherness that makes a home feel lived in. It’s a reminder that contemporary doesn’t have to feel cold; with the right details, it can feel deeply human.
As always, the process began long before construction. A clear, step-by-step approach ensured that every finish, every transition, and every line had reason and intention. From the valley-facing windows to the smallest piece of hardware, the home reflects the meticulous, fayze-by-fayze method that sets Fayzebuilt apart: details aren’t added at the end — they’re built in from the very first conversation.
